Education
I graduated with my Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy in 2016 and am currently completing a pharmacy practice residency (PGY1) training.
Experience
As a pharmacist, it is my job to teach patients about their medications. Because of this I have always love to teach. I have tutored and taught multiple times in the past. I have taught a summer program for 3rd and 4th graders. I have also facilitated a study group for undergraduate students in the genetics class, where I created worksheets and helped the students master the concepts from lecture. I have also tutored and taught with other agencies, including teaching an ACT Class. I have also tutored graduate level medicinal chemistry, middle school and high school chemistry, AP Calculus, and ACT in the past. My ACT scores include a 36 in math, 33 in English, 29 in Reading, and a 31 in science. I received a 96th percentile on my PCAT. I have also done a lot of essay editing. I took a medical writing rotation, where I spent 5 weeks interning at a medical writing company and learned to really hone in on grammar skills. I know what to look for when it comes to editing in terms of content, style, and grammar. I always give feedback and include comments to why I would recommend reordering something or deleting something as well.
